Which national media circulation crossword do Answer Bank members think is the most challenging? My nomination would be Saga Prize crossword. Incidently, I have been doing prize crosswords (correctly) for over 45 years and must have spent the equivalent of over 1000 of today's money in stamps and envelopes and have never won anything. Wish I had taken up stamp collecting instead.

I'm really struggling with the Oldie Magazine Genius Crossword at the moment, but that said I have never attempted the Times or anything!

Hang in there, I won a digital radio in the Unison crosswords last month - first time I've won anything too, and those must have a much higher level of entrants as they are so much easier than the more technical ones....

Still, keeps me quiet for a while.....

Back to my thesaurus.....

There you are - see what I mean Griffrosie - I entered that crossword too!!!
Sorry! Is embarrassed.......
I find Enigmatic Variations very challenging, but I'm told the Listener is even harder. I haven't tried that one yet.
I reckon Sunday Times Mephisto is very challenging. It sometimes it seems as though there is no such word as some of their answers, until I check in Chambers. I was lucky to win one week, but not after a great deal of looking up in reference books and double and treble checking of weird and wonderful words.
I also find the Times Mephisto impossibly hard.

I did win 25 in a Sunday Express Crossword once, and the stamp man has done well out of me too.
