I think you're nice Ice: goodnight.
I still eat chitterlings.

I remember sawdust being on the pub floors as well as the butchers.
And the grocer cutting the green bits off the bacon and cheese before slicing it.
The Butchers!! Dont know about anyone else but my local pub had sawdust on the floor
i made footprints in that as a child, 4get lol
so did I and body prints if I was a bit worse for wear
I remember the sawdust on the pub floors Ethel (showing my age now) and getting back to the butchers my mum used to buy pigs and sheeps heads, they used to last a week with all the different things she used to do with them, mind I wouldn't touch them now but you probably can't buy them now.
Yes, I remember it well, pubs and butchers. I have always hated the smell in butchers shops.

Also remember pubs where there was no 'bar' and the pub was just like someone's front room. The landlord disappeared out the back to fetch the drinks - and one pub in particular where the beer came in a jug!!
Our local butcher still sells home made pork scratchings. They are lovely (very healthy!!)
