I am soo afraid of giving birth!

Ive always wanted to be a mum ever since i was 15 its all i wanted - ive got loads of young family and am brilliant with kids - always come naturally to me, ive seen all of my sisters be born and now im an auntie for the 1st time, ive got a long term boyfriend and a house and kids will be on the menu in the next few years but the older i get the more and more scared i become! I hear it a rising trend! Anyone else the same?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Hi i'm 24 and i have 3 children and my husband and i are trying for our fourth, i was always very scared but as someone mentioned once you go into labour there's no stopping it and your body believe it or not helps you! the most painful part i think is just as the head is coming out as it makes you feel like you need a poo (don't mean to be rude) and it does burn but your body has adrenaline rushing round you just DEAL with it and once you have baby out thats it all pain stops!!!! your body releases some sort of hormone which makes you kind of forget the actual pain because if it didn't like so many other women have mentioned women would just never have children again. The pain is sooo worth it honestly hun enjoy your labour i personally get a buzz off being in labour you feel like you have done such an amazing thing and you should be proud of yourself...
