Has anyone heard the news about Jade Goody's cancer spreading??
I know a lot of people are going through this as well minus all her money ect... but I cant actually belive it.
Could she die??
Im very fortunate that I have only come accross cancer when my 80 year old grandfather had it so its very different to a young 27 year old.I feel very ignorant about the whole thing but very sad for & everyone else suffering form it.

The problem with her is that she is young and cancer spreads more quickly in a younger person so my oncologist told me, as many of you know I've got breast , bone and lung cancer and they've just found a tumour on my skull bone, I've had the cancer for 4 years now and I'm still here but the fact that I'm older (66) it's not spreading so fast. I put it down to very positive thinking and a good diet which is really important. The trouble is a lot of people give up when they hear the word cancer which is a thing you should never do, I don't know how long I've got but I try to live each day as normally as I can, also I've just been diagnosed as having MRSA, don't think I can get much else!!
I've just read on Sky News (lost the link now, can't be bothered ot re-find it again) that the previous diagnosis of a 40% chance of a recovery has now been scrapped and any treeatment she now recieves will be purely to prolong her life rather than seeking a cure.
A terrible way for anyone to go- but for someone so young with two small children it seems worse.

I'm terribly sad for her and for any person who is facing almost a certain death.I dont think it makes one jot what she feels she has to do to secure her childrens future -she has been honest in what must be the most fearful time of her life.I certainly wont be jumping on the Jade is seeking publicity bandwagon.
I reacall someone -name excapes me who posted and virtually said it was a 'publicity' stunt -well hell mend them and I hope that they are now taking stock of being so 'gallous and sarcastic' about someones tragedy .Feel so good now -eh??.Dont think it will even touch them.
I admire her for the positive way she tried to overcome this -I am terribly sad that for her any other human who is faced with such a dire prognosis.
I wish her and her family well and I salute her for thinking of her childrens long term future -that shows true courage and resolve.
