hi there ive put petrol in my 2004 vivaro van i took the petrol out of the tank and put diesel in but now it kicks out loads of white smoke been told it could be injectors or the diesel pump what do you think???

possibly still burning some of the petrol in the fuel lines/filter

Try filling the tank with diesel, provided that there isn't too much petrol in, you should get away with it.
Before the days of additives, lorry drivers used to add a bit of petrol into the diesel tank in freezing conditions, to prevent the diesel from freezing.
Never put diesel in a petrol tank.

whats been done is a garage said its the turbo so its had a new one then they said its head gasket so had a new one now they say injectors or diesel pump all in all its run for 30 mins max as i dont want to cause any more damage???
