Uploading Videos of Facebook
3 Answers
I am having trouble uploading a video of my baby grandaughter onto my page on Facebook. It is only 82MB and the box seems to jump from 24 hrs 8mins to 53mins, then it just seems to freeze and nothing happens. Am I doing anything wrong or is it my laptop's fault? Any help would be gratefully received.

Sounds pretty big to me, when you will only be able to upload at about 50KBps. At that speed, it'll take about 26 minutes. But facebook itself probably won't allow that speed, certainly not all the time.
The best thing to do when uploading a video to facebook is to re-encode it (using Windows Movie Maker or whatever program you use), to be the right dimensions for facebook. No point uploading a photo big enough to fit a 30" display when facebook itself only shows output at 10".

Thank you for that fo3nix. As FB says it shoudn't be more than 1024MB, I thought I was well within the range. BUT, it did upload but now just says "Loading" for ages when I want to see it. I'll try what you suggested although not really sure what you mean, but I'll have a go. Nothing Ventured.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
