Can't receive some Digital channels.
3 Answers
I am currently unable to receive certain channels on my Digital PVR.
When I change to a channel (for example, E4+1, Film4, Film4 + 1, Dave + 1 etc) I get a picture of what is being broadcast and then it turns to some squashed green and white band. I still get audio but no picture and as soon as I change the channel I get the final image of the program before it repeats itself.
Now I don't know what to do as I've rescanned my PVR and got all the new channels and I've also got a new TV aerial with an extra booster but to no avail.
The PVR also has 2 built in aerials which are picking up signals at 87% and 93% and yet I'm still not getting any of the latter digital channels.
Any ideas as to what to do next?

If so (and assuming that you previously selected 'add'), scan again and select 'replace' (or 'New scan' or however else your set labels a completely fresh set up). Otherwise, for example, your PVR might still think that Film 4 is on Channel 32. (It should now appear on Channel 15).
Other than that, I can only suggest disconnecting your PVR from the mains, waiting a minute or two, then re-connecting it. (That might sound very crude but it's amazing how often it fixes problems with digiboxes!).

Sadly not Flobadob. My TV is quite ancient.
Buenchico - When I rescanned the PVR, it automatically resets all the channels. The first time I tried I forgot to plug in the aerial and so had no channels, 2nd time I got 73. I'll see if the ol' unplug and plug method works.
Thanks both for the responses.
