Halogen downlighter falling out of ceiling!
One of my downlighters is falling out of the plasterboard - I think the plaster crumbles away each time the bulb is changed. How can I repair it - I guess it would have to be something heat resistant - I can't see how I could replaster it as the plaster will just fall out! Any suggestions?

A DIY solution..although it might look a bit "chunky".......would be to cut a circle of MDF.........a bit bigger than the light..........cut, and fit the light to this, then screw the whole thing over the existing hole.
