Burn blisters

I have one -which is now giving me not a jot of pain. -left index -bit awkward now -almost half and inch.It was bleeding sore all night but its now just a huge bubble..

How tempted would you be to burst it?

Any tips or would you refrain?

Hi Dris. Don't burst it hun, or it'll be sorer than ever. Keep running it under cold water, even though the blister's there, and then either use a proper burns plaster, which heals things up more quickly, or......oh go on then! I'd be tempted as well!

I had a really bad blister burn which had hurt for a week put some Acriflex on it within an hour it stopped hurting fantastic stuff.

Was so impressed with it bought a tube for all my kids

Thanks hun -I now just have dead skin and have no pain -o the stab with the knife in the early hours (when the drink was in and the wit was out lol) helped on this occasion.Now picking at the skin -luvverly lol x

I know that bez -and do it for others -strangely I was too interested in my cheese and onion on toats.

I once had a mishap at mine -a wee boy (not a clue who he was -my pal just brought him along) and he fell on the disposable BBQ.I immediately lashed him in the bath with cold water as everyone was panicking -then phoned the hospital to see what we should do -we were advised cling film -I did this drove him to hospital and I got the roasting even tho I had been working and I had done evrything right.Still sticks in my craw but I didnt say anything cos the wee lad was transfeerred to the burns unit miles away and the parents were told that had he not been treated on site he would have been scarred for life -he hasnt been scarred and the parents havent even been in touch -theres thanks for you lol.I dont care as I dont know them and wouldnt want to !!

I didnt know until I phoned the hosp -I just knew I couldnt take him out the bath -im so glad I was the one in 'control' cos believe it or not I am always the one who takes control and atays calm then after i'm effed for weeks lol.

Just as well thre are peeps like me -and im glad yer man is sound (lol) but I mean it xx

BTW -my blister is still weeping -should I ignore it or lash something on it?
