Try Food Street in China Town. There are loads of stalls where they you order freshly cooked food, and then eat at the tables in the street. The food is delicious and cheap, dont worry about hygiene, we had no problems and we ate there twice. Try the fried rice served in half a pineapple and the pork wrapped in a banana leaf. Scrummy.
It is a web forum page where Singapore residents and visitors can swap tips.So you will be able to get lots of personal opinion on where to eat either by asking your own questions, or reading other peoples.
Enjoy Singapore diudiu, its a really great city. Changi Museum is worth a visit. If you can Get to Raffles Hotel, its worth the experience. Its sooo classy.
Didn't go to Fullerton Hotel. We were only there for a few days as stop overs to and from Oz. I would love to go back, and thats from someone who doesn't generally like cities.
