i know you can redirect mail by post or at the post office. at the post office, do you know if you have to be the person themselves doing it or can someone take it in for you? when i was doing mine and my husbands last time,he didnt have to be there but could my father in law do it for us both do you think?

Oroviding you have relevant proof documents it can go where you like. You have to prove you are who you claim to be.

yes i know that but can someone else go in our place to do it at the post office?

thanks for your answers, im still wanting to know though if someone can go into the post office on my husband and mines behalf with our docs/id.
Not too sure, maybe. Give it a try and see what happens. The worse that can happen is they'll say no and offer an alternative way of doing it. I'm sure it depends on the mood of the person your father-in-law sees.
