I could send it away and let Dell have a look at it but i know its one of them problems that they wont be able to sort out. A friend of mine said it the fan and shoud causing the vibration. ...I had a similar problem and it was just the cooling fan had come loose...look to tighten anything that has loose screws............especially when new, things vibrate loose.
If it stops when you put your hand on it, it's most likely the case. Remove the side panels if you can, one is likely to be easy to take off (left side looking from the front) the other may be harder or impossible without the correct tools. Check to see if the front and top panels are seated properly, give them a waggle! Then put the side panels back on properly, maybe the tech guy in the factory didn't do this properly before you got it.
It's also worth making sure all the screws that hold the power suppy in are tight. They're all the little screws or bolts around the fan and power socket at the top on the back.
Good luck!
