I quite agree smouse, this has ruined the quiz, the fact that so many questions are being asked at a time means that the people asking are being lazy and not trying the quiz for themselves. it would be different if it was near the closing date!

One or two setters are no longer going to put in the work to set them now people are asking so soon and I think that's what askers and answerers are forgeting. Yes you can say the charity still gets the money but not if people stop sending for them

Its not the asking that I dont like, unlike some, its the too soon bit. I dont see what the rush is to finish them.

I dont know what I'd do without my quizzes so please lets try to wait till nearer closing time

Exactly, smouse. When I send for a new quiz I put it in my folder according to the due back date, and work through my quizzes that way.

How on earth can the "answerers" be criticised in respect of this thread ... there is absolutely no way of us knowing the closing date!!

I agree with that but as a regular user surely you had seen that 18 were asked on the same quiz the day before and I had commented to that effect on that one

I agree if you dont know a quiz you dont know the closing date etc
but you did answer more even after I made the comment but thats your choice I just feel sorry for the people who set them.

Smouse ... I'm afraid I hadn't seen any previous reference to this quiz, as my visits to AB are far fewer nowadays than in the past. I generally only "look in" late in the evenings, and during the mornings on Saturdays and Sundays.

Reference your insinuation that I continued answering after your comment is completely untrue ... although it's timed one minute after your post, I can assure you that my typing is not that fast, and your entry wasn't there when I submitted! (S)
