water problem

Hi, I think i might have a bit of a problem with the water system in my car but im not sure. When i start the car up after leaving it standing for a while, I can hear trickling water for about 2 seconds and then it goes. I have a Vauxhall Corsa 98 plate. it seems to be coming from near the water reservoir itself. Does anyone have any suggestions of what this might be?

Check your water drain holes each side of the bulkhead, under the bonnet below the screen.

Have you checked the coolant level? When mine is low, (slow leak around the thermostat) I can hear trickling in the heater matrix....
