Greebo..
22 Answers
anyone remember them?
anyone was one?
are they still called this today?
After a slight misunderstanding over the meaning of the word 'bonehead' earlier... it reminded me of another expression that was used in the mid-70's to early-80's - that of Greebo. In our neck of the woods, this basically meant a long-haired, leather-jacketed, biker who was into rock music.
It could also mean the GULT - the great unwashed late teen (that interpretation certainly applied to the Greebo's I knew).
Is it just me, or was this a familiar term outside the Wolds?
