okay, so you don't have to be anti, as such.. but this is for those of us who didn't get so much as a card today. (no gloating/fibbing on this thread, thank you!) my postman thinks he delivered a Valentine's card, but it was a wedding invitation :o/
even the married man at work, who always sends me a "guess who" card... nothing!
bah humbug!

I'm sure come Monday I'll be going through sackvilles and sending 'thank you' notes back all week.
Last year was funny though Sara. My friend knew I was a bit depressed about the lack of man in my life, so imagine my surprise when about 10 cards turned up (including one from Sean Bean and one from George Clooney). Unfortunately, after about the fifth card, she got sick of disguising her handwriting.
I guess she didn't get round to it this week, for a very good reason. I am thrilled cos she was safely delivered of a baby boy yesterday.

I 'tried' to venture into The Card Factory shop yesterday to buy a birthday card, but soon backed out again. The place was heaving with kids & adults buying Valentine's cards & gifts for their 'loved' ones! Even a double queue!
I then tried W H Smith's, but it was the same in there!
I then tried Asda, but it was just as bad, with men falling over themselves to buy bunches of red roses, etc. Absolutely ridiculous!
My husband bought me a pack of scones & clotted cream, bless him! Who says love is dead?!!!! ;o}
