Twinkies...
Question Author
What are twinkies?????????????????????

Twinkies are an American confectionary built to withstand nuclear Armageddon to act as a foodstuff for when the cockroaches take over the world.  Its a bit like the idea of deep frying a mars bar.
As for foods that can be deep fried, why almost anything can be deep fried. a quick google search with a food stuff followed by the words "deep fried" will yield a recipe whether that be for Ice cream, Camembert or tarantula

Typically .... chips (not just potato but any root veg), vegetable tempura, onion rings, sesame prawn toast, doughnuts, battered mars bars (popular in Scottish fish & chip shops !), scotch eggs, any food covered in batter/breadcrumbs.
I'm a Scottish person, and it is to this fair land that you should seek guidance. There are very few foodstuffs which will not benifit from a good deep-frying. Macaroni pies are a personal favourite. Feeding an elderly relative  deep-fried king-ribs is one of the few legally acceptable forms of euthanasia within the U.K.. To really research your subject, I'd suggest 5 pints of Tennent's lager and an hour or two perusing and sampling the delights on offer from a Scottish chipper. Recommendations - The Ashvale Chipper, Aberdeen.
