I have A LAD DIN (he had a lamp with a wick). But I know a Jinn is an evil spirit but I can not find a similar reference to Din. Any pointers out there? Thanks

Sorry Beatrice I should have offered A?A?D?N as the correct letters I have. I am sure it is aladdin. I am just curious to find a link between the devil and din. Basically trying to reduce my ignorance!!

Bea, thanks for considering me intelligent! For many years I was a Telegraph person then one day I tried the Sunday Times cryptic, sent it off and won the ballpoint pen. Biggest shock of my life. Bizarrely I can generally breeze the Daily Telgraph and Sunday Times but find the Sunday Telegraph and Daily Times difficult to impossible.
