I've just been on my hen weekend to Brighton and it was fantastic. I know it's a bit of a drive for you, but we came down from the Midlands and it only took just over 3 1/2 hrs.
We booked a tailor made weekend with a meal and a VIP nightclub pass on Fri and dog racing on the Sat night, all staying in a 3 * hotel for the two nights. We did our own thing during the days to keep our costs down so shopped, had cocktails on the marina, mooched the Lanes and acted like kids on the pier in the arcades and funfair. We had ages ranging from 26 thru to 52 and everyone had a fantastic time. If you do a search for UK hen weekends in your search engine and then try tailor making them, you've got loads of options.
If you can't do the weekend, then perhaps a meal at the dog racing at Wimbledon followed by a club, similar theme closer by without travel and stay over.

If you are going to London, try the Hard Rock Casino. You need to apply for membership before you go (a simple form) and it is free. My husband ended up there for his brothers stag night last weekend. They had a good meal, said the atmosphere was really laid back and had a great time. It also stays open to 4am, so a great place to end up at.
