I am trying to find details of John Hough born 1764 who married Jane Edge in 1791.They had a son John born 1791. Since those dates I cannot find any trace of them.Please can anyone help. Thank you

craft that will be why the Biddscombe family tree has the wrong birth date, the compiler perhaps did not realise 1841 ages were rounded down,

If you can find it, the book Making Use of The Census by Susan Lumas is brilliant, I bought it in 1990 and so it may not be in print, it is ISBN 1 873162 02 2 and a PRO Publication (though when it was in Chancery lane not Kew lol)

Sorry Craft. The one you have fournd is not the John I want. He was born in 1764 married Jane Edge. He was the son of Peter Hough born 1733 . This info I got from Roots Web.
What I am trying to find is what happened to them. Where did they live and death date.

Yeeeees but the John on the 1841 census is the son of John and Jane.
You have a very limited number of places to find John's death, either in the Parish Register of Burials (probably Osmaston Parish Church) or the actual Grave, which may or may not have a stone . You should find out if the Monumental Inscriptions for the Parish Church have been recorded and published, probably by the local Family History Society.
