Always feel cold
7 Answers
For the last 6 weeks I have been constantly cold - more than the cold weather would explain. I am a 53 year old male who is generally fit and active. This started before Xmas when I woke up in the middle of the night shivering and with a temperature of 106. I was advised to go to A&E where they diagnosed a "flu-type infection" and prescribed strong antibiotics. The temperature quickly went back to normal but I have been constantly cold ever since. I sit in warm rooms with people wearing T-shirts, but I have about 4 heavy layers on and am still cold. My feet often feel like blocks of ice even after having been in a warm car.

I also live with my OH who is always like a toaster and we spend some time in the cat turning the heater up (me) and turning it down again(him)! I hope that you find a solution to your problem - have you lost a lot of weight or anything like that?
