Swimming with dyed hair

I dyed my hair (using boots own stuff), about 1 week before christmas. I am ok to go swimming now? Will the chlorine in the water make my ahir turn green or something??? Please can someone help me because i am planning to go swimming on tuesday!!! Thank you in advance for ANY help. =D

Well I used to bleach my hair and dye it bright pink and I was okay swimming - it was only warm/hot water affected the colour. Do they put chlorine in the water now?

i often use a semi permasnent hair colour and go swimming every week no problem

Yes, I'm sure they do. You can smell it a mile off. Whatever, your hair should be OK penlid - but you can still buy swimming caps if you feel uncertain.

If you can stand it, its adviseable to apply color conditioner before entering the pool and rinse off after swimming. The conditioner will preserve the color.
