Is it healthy for five twenty six year old female almost doctors to have a valentines slumber party . . .instead of seeking out compatible male companions?
I don't see why not, if they are happy to do this and probably having more fun than they would with a man. I would say it's perfectly normal to have a girlie night in on Valentines.
Sorry, didn't see the title and thought it was 'a friend' rather than your girlfriend.
However, and this may be a controversial view, if my boyfriend didn't ask me out somewhere on Valentine's, I certainly wouldn't 'seek him out'. Old fashioned, yes, but to me, Valentine's is a time that the guy makes the effort.
Your own fault mate, you should have let her know you had something in mind. However, they may well have their own reasons for this. You may find out, you may not.
