Gamma GT levels in liver
5 Answers
What is the normal range of levels for this ? And what is considered dangerous ?
I stopped drinking in December, I was putting away a heck of a lot ( vodka ) and in August my level was 88, is that really bad, and will it now be coming down ?
Have buried my head in the sand but now feel strong enough to know. Thankyou in advance x x

Infact gamma GT is an indication of obstruction rather than alcohol induced liver cell damage. It can also be raised in fat people and diabetics(I think), but if you are worried (and really you shouldn't be with that level) then have a word with your GP.
