I always liked him as a presenter, a softly spoken & gentle manner about him. Just watched him on tv talking about his wifes Alzheimers. What a brilliant spokesman for all those suffering with Alzheimer's disease! Very moving!

and it was awful to see a man who was an
old soldier forget to have a shower and shave ..
all the small bits came together and he went in
to a home , he was only there for 4 months
and passed away . Alzheimers and dementia
are both the same thing , be nice if more money
was put in to research rather than on trivial things .
