Duffy - deserving award winner, or overrated nasal-voiced mediocrity?

Are you applauding the fact she won 3 Brits, or gnashing your teeth and wondering what's wrong with everyone? Think she has a great voice, or that she sounds like a squeaky toy being stepped on? Love the whole "retro" thing, or find it yawn-inducing?

Well, you know I think she is grossly overrated Jim. I don't rate her voice at all and agree with you.

Elbow are amazing Zacsmaster. Did you hear (or see) the BBC2 concert with Elbow and the BBC concert orchestra. If not do watch it on BBC Iplayer. It was fantastic. They are so modest too.

I agree with Zacsmaster , Elbow were worthy winners. Them apart the biggest load of garbage I have seen on TV for a long time . Who on earth told the prats that introduced it ,that they were funny? As for Girls Aloud winning the award for best single of the year ,they have no talent.

She doesn't sound too bad in recorded form but she sounds terrible live... that warble drives me mental, horrible.

Not that I'm suggesting she is a bad singer just the style I can't stand.

liked her first song, but then the rest have bored me. They all seem to be about the same thing, bitter twisted relationship break ups, along with her I switch Pink off for the same reason. My other half laughs because I shout "just get over it" to them and push the off button.
