Legend, as you well know, I am far away from England. I was a child when we left, but I still have vague memories of qauint country lanes in Staffordshire, hardly any traffiic, gathering blue-bells, collecting conkers, having bon-fires, chasing newts around the pond, collecting tadpoles, and getting whacked on the knuckles at school.......Loved it all!

am suffering folks....the gods are neglecting me....the ch system has packed in - have caught a cough from this weeks commuting by tube into the smokey city and feel rough. Not over yet - one more day - and all should be settled!

Had quite forgotten the many numbers squeezed into a tube train all swaying and tumbling over each other on inter-city trains. Each in their own techy world of ipods and blackberrys - r they people or units as they're dont communicate, apart from passing infectious coughs.
