Why am I so thirsty ?

I am thirsy all the time I drink water then straight after I am thirsty again like I haven't drank for hours. I drank so much the other day that my tummy went hard and hurt ! Can anyone help ?

You need to get to the doctors and get checked for diabetes. unquenchable thirst is one of the symptoms of this.

Definitely get yourself checked out.

I drink loads yet always seem to be thirsty and get really dehydrated. I've been checked for diabetes many times but not that for me but you should get checked yourself.

If it's not something like that then it might be that you're not processing the fluids properly.

I saw an osteopath who's also a nutritionist and he said to try a good EPA supplement (essential fatty acids) and, all credit to him, it's made a big difference.

Are you having too much salt in your diet? Crisps, salted nuts, savoury snacks?

I don't eat many crisps ( not since the advert where the girl drank the oil) I don't think I have been having alot of salt due to the fact that my mum home makes most of her foods but I will check

You may be may be drinking a lot of water, but are you passing a lof of urine?.......important to know.

How long has this been going on?......important to know.
