What makes you cringe?

I hate it when people rub their eyebrows the wrong way, or when they 'crack' their knuckles. My husband hates touching dry cotton wool, or polystyrene pieces rubbing together.

What's the most common cringe-factor among us ABs?

All of the above and chewing on a cotton hanky - as I did as a child ahhhh and I hate men (or women to be PC!) pulling out hairs from their beards!!

I'm with you on the eyebrow thing, don't know why but I can't stand it. Also the feel of newspaper, cardboard and wooden lolly sticks - especially after I've just got dried from the shower or bath. My really bad one though, is belly buttons! I don't ever go near mine 'cos it makes me feel sick. I had a really bad time with it when I was heavily pregnant, cos it went all pokey outy.uurrgggh, feel a bit queasy just thinking about it.

Kazzareee - I know what you mean about belly buttons!  My boyfriend finds it highly amusing to stick his finger in mine to annoy me - Yuck!! yuck!! I hate it!!!!

Also can't bear my toenails being filed.  Fingernails are fine but for some reason I want to run around screaming if an emery board goes anywhere near my pinkies.  Boyfriend also has an annoying habit of crossing my little toe over the next one - aaaarrrgghhhh!!!!

However, boyfriend cannot stand me licking yoghurt pot lids (the bumpy foil ones) so I can get my own back!

Pigeons, biting on a piece of foil sweet wrapper, the sound of some one clipping their toenails & that tinny sound coming from walkmans on a bus.

The drilling and associated noises you can hear when you're sat in the dentist's waiting room.

Touching the "spidery" bits on the tops of tomatoes.

Seeing a dead worm on the pavement. That makes me really cringe and feel really sick!

Thought I was the only one with an aversion to ice lolly pop sticks.  Just the thought of anyone putting one in their mouth, let alone sucking one sets my teeth on edge.  Ugh!!!

I'm glad I'm not the only person who hates belly buttons!!! I hate it when your jeans rub against it - yyeurgh!!! also the scratching over tights or any material!

erm, what's the right way to rub your eyebrows?? I'm with you guys on the foil in the mouth, but then I've got hardly any enamel left on my fillings.

My mom hates the cotton wool at the top of pill bottles/containers...and my friends Dad screams in horror if he finds a loose button on the floor! ....strange people.

I've got a terrible thing about food food that has been mixed together or half eatten then left on a plate (even my own) i hate scrapping a plate after a meal and i stack plates and leave them at the furthest edge away from me in restaurants .
