Sky viewing card
3 Answers
A message is coming up on my tv screen saying that there is a problem with my viewing card. The strange thing is that it only happens on some channels but others are fine.
I have done the usual basic remedy (ie took the viewing card out and rubbed it on my jeans!) but still have the problem.
Any idea what the prob could be?

Unplug the box from the mains and leave it for a minute, then plug it back in and swithc it back on. It can take a minute or so for the box to sort itself out before you can switch it back on.
That should sort it, well it did for me on Friday anyway

Hi cakeboy and mattk. Thanks for your replies.
I am subscribed to view the channels!
So the good old fashioned 'turn it off and turn it back on again' is what I need to do! I often presume that I don't have the technological know-how to sort out this type of problem but more often than not, the obvious solution works best.
