Hair dye

I have brunette hair and want to dye it to a bright fuscia pink - is this at all possible without bleaching too? I just dont want to bleach and then in a month or too decide I want my natural hair back and be blonde.

I have died my hair pillar box red before and it stuck quite well - I used Manic Panic dye (which I liked). Manic panic is a semi permanant dye and they have about 7 varieties of pink, but I am unsure which one to use to get the colour I want. Any one used a specific brand without bleaching at got a great result? Thanks

To get a really excellent, bright colour, I'd really say that you need to bleach first. It doesn't have to ruin your hair. A friend of mine's done it on her normally dark hair, and it looks brilliant.

As a brunette your base tone needs stripping before you apply the fuschia. Certain applications for stripping are only available to salons for safety.

What about if I temp dye it blonde then temp dye pink on top?

Yeah that Hot Hot Pink is the colour I want lol but I really dont want to bleach cos when it washes through I will be blonde - not a colour that would suit me

once hair is processed there's no going back....until you grow it out. It can be colored back to brown but it will still be processed.

Processed (colored) hair is thicker & less greasy.

the color is permanent. Depending on weather/swimming/shampooing/sea-pool water will fade the color but should last 6weeks before the roots show.
