It doesn't matter whether you work with people or in a factory making things. The management of ANY business will have cutting expenses as a priority. I know this too well as my hours as a cook in the care sector were cut in half. If you know anything about wages in the care sector-as I am sure you do-then you will know that it was a far cry from a living wage. Thankfully I own my place outright-if not I would be amongst the homeless whom I now work with. And there will be more middleclass people getting their meals from us at the rate things are going.
We just need to be thankful for what we DO have.....not be envious of others who appear to be more fortunate.

I get bits of work from time to time in Spain, but what I have to pay out in rent for the villa, etc, doesn't even allow me to break even.
