have to we got off at the guiness factory and really is was boring but the Kilmainham Gaol was fabulous. Quite long and quite cold when we were there but so interesting. The man who took us round was so knowledgable. To be honest was not something I fancied doing just it had been recommended to us but I loved it and would advise anyone to do it.
Also would recommend this place for food:

yes that will be the one - quite a lot of films been filmed there Michael Collins, in the name of the father, italian job! I am sure you would enjoy it - probably as a youngster I would have found it quite boring huffed around behind my parents or whatever. Surprised myself how interesting it all was. There was quite a bit of time spent outside in the yards so if weather cold or wet go appropriately dressed!
