I have been told (and so far believed) that English is the only language with sufficient vocabulary to require or produce a thesaurus. French, for example, with only a quarter of the words we have, has no need of such a tome.

By the way I am not a member of the BNP, The English Supreme League, or any other such...,

Is English unique in this respect?

So how about this then?
According to this site - which is still under construction � there has so far only been one major, Swedish thesaurus. *turns red* It was published in 1930�
