Whenever I blow my nose I always get spots of blood on the tissue. Is this normal or is there something wrong with me?

Many years ago I had a really bad cold that just would not go away. I had been overdoing the decongestant drops also-which can make things worse. Well-one night I was grilling some meat in the bottom oven,As I bent over to turn the meat. and a wave of heat hit my face........ppfftttt!!..I felt a pop in my nose......needless to say-dinner was ruined as well as my appetite. I continued to have nose-bleeds on and off for several years every time I had a cold. Apparently it was due to a genetic weakness as my father and sister suffered the same way.
Sorry for being so long-winded--lol

This is quite a good one. In my early days of being at the bar, I was instructed to represent someone and was told under no circumstances should I be alone with him because he was dangerous. So we had our conference in a quiet part of the court corridor, just a few seats away from some police officers waiting on another case. The Def, starts getting quite agitated and starts being extremely abusive to me - to the extent that the officers wanted to step in, but I waved them away, but they continued to maintain a "watching brief".
Anyway, I was in the middle of a stinking cold and halfway through my cross exam of the first witness, I blew my nose and it started to pour with blood. I gamely carried on and reached the end whereby I asked permission from the Chair of the bench and legged it out of court - blood all over my face.
Unfortunately, I missed the bit where the 3 officers piled into court after the defendant (whom they had thought had slotted me one).
