On Monday I spent the entire day following my wife around Lakeside shopping centre in Essex whilst she spent spent spent.

Longest most boring day of my life.

I digress - my question is.....are there any statistics concerning which county has the largest women? Essex seems to have more than its fair share. And I'm not talking about being a bit overweight - these women were absolutely huge.

I'm an ex Essex girl, but I'm not huge - I'm a size 12!

Also, I used to spend whole weekends shopping too, but since I gave up work, I don't need as many clothes (suits/tops/shoes/bags,etc.,) as I used to.

I have to say, some of the 'largest' women & men we ever saw, was when we wnet to America a couple of years ago - now they were huge.

Sorry if my reply appears rude or insulting to any Americans, but I am just answering  Ducati's question.

I live in Essex and most of the ladies I know are slim, trim and very very fit.
It depends on what you define as "Huge" ducati ???

Sorry, I know it is a bit of a flippant question, but they were massive - I'm talking probably 16stone and above: not heavy if you are a 6ft prop forward, but when you are five foot nothing.....................and it just struck me that there were loads of them.

I must've visited Essex on the wrong day - it was tipping it down all day, so perhaps that's why! Perhaps fat women go shopping when its raining!

Don't know about Essex women but my husband would have flipped out at having to spend the day shopping so well done mate!

Nope, mid-30s and showing it - however, not overweight and keep fit, cycling, football, rugby (rugby vets nowadays as I've slowed down a lot).

Yes, I agree it probably was a bit rude, but it can't be healthy to be that fat - you'd think they'd want to do something about it, and I'm just amazed that they let themselves get that huge: and some people say smokers shouldn't be treated on the NHS, well what about fat people where it is self-inflicted???

Yes, Ducati actually you have a point there. Some of it is self-inflicted. When I was in College in America, there were some girls who were obese, nevertheless when they ate at the cafeteria  they used to load their trays with the most fatty foods and lots of sweet things.
