hi, i have goy a samsung laptop but cant get on to the internet, i was told as long as i have a wireless socket and aerials i use a pcmcia card, but not nowing any thing about it were is the wireless socket on my laptop. does any one no please tell me. MANY THANKS YUKKA.

Assuming you have a wireless router then your laptop needs to have a wireless card in it, if you post the model of the laptop then we can let you know if it has (or check the specs yourself... or it might even say if you still have the stickers on it!)

chuck, you must think i am a proper dill after all i am a 75yr old dill, chuck the laptop is a samsung VM7000SERIES, i have used a pcmcia adapter card but no good. i will always listen to the experts, cheers and thanks a lot for your time. yukka.
