cipfa or acca ?
I work in finance field in a university and want to further study . I have been thinking to do ACCA but I have come to know that for public sector CIPFA is better as per their preference. I know that for fact that ACCA are more globally recognized but I see my self in future only working for public sector. What is your point of view?Which is more useful ? Is CIPFA equally good? Thanks

It depends what you want to do. If you expect to remain in a purely finance / accounting role then it probably would prevent progress eventually. But there's an awful lot of opportunities in the public sector - perhaps 30% of such jobs in the UK. And the financial principles are common to both, in terms of private sector jobs in business analysis and project management, say.
