Ryan Giggs and Wales
7 Answers
Shouldnt Ryan Giggs concentrate on playing for Wales and help getting them to the World Cup finals?
As far as I am aware he has retired from international football, but has never played in the finals of any major international tournament.

As for not playing in a major tournament.... well he's not done too bad Bob! OK.... not internationally but helping Wales to a major tournament... mm you do realise he's not a real Wizard don't you?

Slightly off topic, i always remember hearing a quote from Barry Ferguson of Scotland, saying.....
"I don't want to end up like Ryan Giggs and George Best in never representing my country at a world cup finals"
Kind of implied he was in the same bracket as those two legends!!!
Get lost Barry, you are not even fit to lace Goggs and Bests boots!

Why would he go to manage Scotland???
Leading arguably the biggest club in the world vs a second rate nation (no offence intended)
The only reason you think a monkey could win stuff with utd is because of ferguson. I certainly wouldn't want the job after him - whoever gets it is on to a loser from the start.
Anyway - back to Giggs. Like you say, he's retired from international football. So no mahor tournaments for him.
That's the decision he took as a lad - to represent Wales rather than England.
