Sad news today, for most of us regardless of our political beliefs, David Camerons son has dies.

But what is the betting, given Noo labours record, that some sicko will take the opportunity to 'bury bad news' or capitalise on this.

I dont think McBottle will. indeed I am sure his understanding is greater than most of us having gone through similar himself, but I'm sure there are a few desperate pinko's that would want to.

Rov, are you a parent?
What an extraordinarily cold, callous, insensitive and inappropriate post Rov
Why not Rov?

And why stop there?

Let's carry out some genetic experiments so we only breed blond blue-eyed childrenw ho will grow into a master race ... oh hang on, that's being a Nazi isn't it?

I assume that's where your 'reality' is taking you?

'Put down'?

I think I'll stop now, I can feel a ban coming on.
Almost tempted to say that it's a pity your parents hadn't followed your advice rov!!!
Will youngmafbog Stoop even lower than to try making a political point out of a child's death ?
i think you are somewhat naive if you think that any other political party would be any different to labour.

All political parties are exactly the same - namely in it for their own gain.

I sussed that out when I was about 18

Right mate -if they Really cared about Britain they would Welcome another Party using their ideas instead of complaining about it. What is Bad for Britain is Good for the Opposition.

I do not mind anyone criticizing my posts, but you along with others will continue to take what I say completely out of context, just to ridicule me in some way, hence this passage from your post:

As usual, your need to push your jingoistic viewpoints about soliders and foreigners has to be hung on any thred - however inapropriate such a point may be.

(I know some spellings are wrong, but I just copied and pasted your text).

I wasn't trying to equate the loss of a child with the deaths of soldiers? What I was trying to get over was the fact that all those politicians were hanging their heads down in grief over the death of that child.

These are the same individuals that don't think twice about sending our troops to be killed while fighting in wars that we should not be fighting.

You have no need to keep coming up with that same old chestnut, that 'soldiers sign up voluntary'.Yes this is quite correct, but you also accuse them of killing others in a country where they have no business. This fact is out of their control.

A soldier also has to obey orders, they have no control over who's land they are in, or who they kill. No the one's that do have control over these matters are those very same people who were there in the 'House' with heads bowed and condolences being aired, for one of their fellow hypocrite's late child.

This in no way makes the death of this poor child of no importance, the death of anyone is important, and it is time these hypocrites acknowledged this, when they send other's Son's or Daughters out to be killed unnecessarily

Will they, with their heads bowed in a show of respect, be on the Tarmac of RAF Briz Norton the very next time those union flag draped coffins arrive?

<i.at the beginning of each session, party leaders invariably announce their condolences to families of soldiers who have been killed in the week.

Yes of course I know of this, but there is a big difference of what took place on this occasion.and the hurried standard unemotional words that each of the three leaders, feel it is their duty to word.

I can't ever remember them in a show of respect also closing down the sitting either.

They could save a lot of grief for these families if the child had been put down soon after birth. Calous but thinking reality.

You evil Sob.
I would hate to be in your world if that's your thinking.

It would seem that the very point of this thread has been disproved other wise people would not be discussing the deaths of soldiers abroad along side the death of a child.
Wether a child of a politician or a soldier in a far off land they were both some ones son and both deserve to be remembered with love and pride.

rov1200, you are disgraceful. Shame on you.
There are a couple of posts on this thread which have genuinely disturbed me.

...and I know this is a horrible thing to say - but one person has proved himself to be...a worthless human being.

Absolutely worthless.

I don't like writing that about someone, but really...I'm shocked and 'disgusted by proxy'.

I hope that I'm never in the position of the Camerons. Politically I have no respect for the man, but I have gallons of sympathy for the man.

If you're man enough to say, "Put 'em down before they're born, I hope you'd be man enough to say that to Cameron's face.

Nasty, cheap, ugly and disgraceful.
How I agree with sp1814. It is very easy for rov1200 to hide behind a username. He/she will be completely oblivious to all the replies of outrage to his/her comment. If he/she is prepared to make such a disgusting, disgraceful and outrageous comment then this person will not be swayed in any way at all to be shamed. Although they should be.
Good morning AOG,

I think we fundamentally agree on some points, and agree to differ on others.

We agree that a death of anyone before natural causes or old age takes them is a tragedy.

I understand that the MP's register their respect for the deaths of soliders, but by definition, this has to be different from the loss of a child for someone they see and interact with every single day.

In the same way that a soldier's loved ones will grieve more deeply any of us not directly involved, so the MP's will show their grief for someone they know well.

I think I was somewhat harsh and judgemental in my initial response, and I would, on reflection, wish to withdraw it.

A pleasure as always to debate with you.
andy-hughes

Thank you most sincerely for your gentlemanly attitude.

It all makes for a much friendlier debate, it is only a pity that others can't take your stance.
