trapped bird

I have a yound bird trapped in my loft. I live in Kent, is there any society or someone I can contact for help in catching and releasing it?

If you can bear it, try leaving it alone for a day or so and it will probably get out the way it got in.
We had a bird come down our chimney (the fire was not on) and the local RSPB suggested that we practically demolish the house to let it out. At the suggestion of a gas engineer we closed the door on that room and the bird got itself down the chimney by morning and we were able to release it.
I hope you have as fortunate an outcome.
