Cat trouble
11 Answers
Frankie wasn't out 10 minutes this morning, and came in hopping on 3 legs, with a cut on his right front leg. Quick dash to the Vet. Cleaned up, antibiotic injection, and 5 day supply of antibiotic tablets. 30 is coming out of his pocket money. :-). Just got home, and in came Felix who had managed somehow to fall into a cow pat, and stank to high heaven. Trying to bath him was a nightmare, it was like trying to wash one of those Tasmanian Devils. I don't know who ended up the most exhausted me or him. A stiff drink was called for after that performance. Love them or what !!!

Did you have that stiff drink. My poor old margo is now on an even sterner diet, she is not impressed and the end of the bed is suffering for it. Shes trying all the tricks she knows to get us up in the morning for breakfast.
Thanks everyone for your replies.
The stiff drink (purely medicinal of course) :-) certainly helped.
Frankie is feeling much better, but his leg and paw are still swollen, have it keep an eye on it.
Felix definitely smells more like a cat and less like a cow flop after his bath, brush, and comb; although he complained bitterly and loudly at the time.
All seems fairly peaceful at the moment. Tansy the 21yr old has taken to her bed in disgust, I don't think she's at all impressed with the antics of the two tom cats.
Madboutcats - why is Margo on a strict diet?
Sqad - didn't realise you had two cats - Lovely.
How did Airborne get his/her name. I have visions of the cat flying up the curtains, on top of the wardrobe, and anywhere else it can launch itself into its flying antics.
Cheers. Schutz.

Hope they are both feeling better now. I could have throttled Flossie (the deaf, old lady) this afternoon as I was trying to do some important paperwork and she kept yelling at me for food. I can't concentrate with her doing that so she knows she'll get something nice just to shut her up, artful old minx. yes, don't you just love 'em?
