about 12 months ago i won �25 (runner up) with you mag crossword, but it's the only crossword prize i've ever won. have been doing sunday express gk crossword for about 25-30 years without success, but it at least exercises the brain as they say. have also been doing mail on sunday gk crossword for sometime also without success.
regarding cryptic crosswords, well i'm the worlds worst, as i haven't a clue as the clues are just gibberish to me!
those that enjoy cryptic, all the best to them.

Thank you all for you good wishes. As a busy 'homemaker' I don't have too much time for 'comping' but I do come on the site most weeks for answers. Its more fun than impersonal googling all the time and often educational too. Best of luck to you all whether for future wins or personal satisfaction
