this is prob a real silly question, but when i went to see my midwife she asked the usual questions and said is the baby moving loads, she said you should feel the babymove at least 10 times in 12 hours, if you dont then contact the hospital.

but does it work the other way? sometimes i feel like she is moving none stop for hours! last night she was up all night, u have noticed a pattern, she tends to wake up and be the livliest when im just going to bed lol but last night she was up in my belly all night! is that normal???

this post couldve been written by me 4 years ago lol

They cant move too much, some babies just wriggle non stop. I worried that mine, once born, would be on the go all the time and never sleep. But once he arrived he lept fine andi found that he wriggled in his sleep, at 2 weeks old he could wriggle from one end of crib to the other, asleep, in less than 30 seconds lol

ahhh thats a very good point, i never thought about that, my daughter also wriggled in her sleep when she was new born!

thank you and ill stop worrying now! got the midwife friday anyway xx
lol, I think I asked this question too! Make the most of all that wriggling and kicking, I really miss that feeling now..... although I probably wanted it to stop when I was trying to get some sleep!
How many weeks are you? I can't wait to feel him/her.

I'm so jealous, I'm only in my 16Th week so just feeling the flutters around bed time!
Mine has been moving alot since I started back in the gym 4 weeks ago. He seems to be quite restless and I can't see any definite sleep patterns, there is movelement during morning, afternoon, evening and night.
