Hi emandvee, John was actually in a sub-group of the Minstrels called The Back Porch Majority, others that were in the New Christys were, Kenny Rogers, Kim Carnes and Peter, Paul and Mary, so too was the guy who sang abot the futuristic "Eve of Distruction" Barry Maguire I believe his name was/is lol
