When the get near just put on one of those sound effects cd's in the stereo on as loud as it will go,you know the ones with gunfire,crash sounds,dogs barking,screeching tires,women screaming,helicopter noises, This is whst ive done and thankfully i have'nt seen a jehovahs witness in 6 months......trouble is i have'nt seen the postman,milkman or another living soul on my side of the street neither!

^happened to me once when we went to view a house, the couple were lovely and made us a cuppa and started to talk to us about Jesus, we couldnt escape for ages. Never bought the house.

My ex neighbours were witnesses but they were really nice and thoughful people, they never tried to convert me,dont think the most senior members do door to door sales!!!

This guy invited them in to show off his DIY skills. Showed them all round the house - the new kitchen, the new stairs, all the new rooms in the house, the new central heating, the new garden - all his own work. After over three hours, he shows them into the living room, sits them down, and asks what they have come to say.

The response is that they don't know - they have never got this far before.
