I was a double glazing salesperson and it was a strange kind of living. I was thrown out of a place, and not because I outstayed my welcome.

People can be thick. Or gullible. A buy one get one free campaign is very successful, even tho the end 'discount' for the whole order would be about the same.

I was also threatened with the sack because I told a woman in her 90s that she only needed thicker curtains on her patio doors and not new doors.

I don't know how some salespeople sleep nights.

I know I did. And sometimes with a full commission order cheque under my pillow.
