I just had a big rant to a manager about how I was not putting up with someones behaviour towards me anymore, I feel a lot better for it! His face was so funny, I don't think he knew what to do to calm me down lol! Anyone else need a rant? If you do, let it out here, you'll feel better for it!

I don't usually rant but I think when you have some ex army guy who says crap to you all the time and you are treated unfairly something should be done when you calmly complain. There is only so much that one person can take and I reached my limit today. They can put a note on my HR file for all I care, they should have stopped what was going on long ago and this was the only way to make them listen!
Good for you, Caj1. The last place I worked in was horrible and one day the MD just went too far with his petty complaining so, like you, I just lost the place and told him exactly what I thought of him and the outfit he ran. I left a few months later but had the last laugh as they 'phoned me up and asked me to come back to do a particular job and believe me, I made them pay plenty for my time. Very satisfying.

good for you!! Better to get it off your chest than put up with it, don't let people walk over or belittle you xxx
AAhh so now this post makes sense,

14:00 Would you have preferred to have seen something more realistic? I don't think so, I've seen someone killed in a horrific way on a bike and never wish to see anything like it again. Its an advert, it doesn't matter how realistic it was as long as the point was made and heeded.

Along with your rant today ive come to the conclusion that your p.m.s,ing so i appologise for me and all other men on earthnthat upset you merely because of our presence.
Are you in retail CAJI? I was till I retired and OMG, there were times when I wanted to tell them to "Go to Hell" or words to that effect...lol, there were the professional moaners you could spot a mile off, then the pro Shop-lifters who could buy and sell you with their knowledge of their "rights", we are far too soft on people who treat us so shoddily and what's worse the Management tend to take the customer side if only to het them out of the store, in one paticular well known store I had a female tyrant of a Manager say,"it's not your money, so let them have it" when shoplifters tried to return goods without the receipt, offer them a credit and then the sparks would fly, not the first time I've had one wait for me when I've finished my shift, luckily Security would spot this and escort you to your car, but for every nasty one their are 10 nice ones.
I agree that calm and collected is the way ... calmly explain the problem in graphic detail, and then BANG the table HARD with both fists, demanding 'WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT ?' at the top of your voice.

I'm sorry hailthechimp, maybe what I wanted to say came across in the wrong way...apologies. At least you know, as a man, to apologise for everything when a woman is at that time of the month even when you've done nothing wrong lol. Sorry...friends?

No Joy11, I work in an office with a lot of arrogant people who think the sun shines out of their backsides!

Lol at origamimark!
