Hi everyone, Im almost 10 weeks pregnant & have my dating scan in a couple of days. I haven't really had many symptoms just sore breasts and a bit of tiredness but thats it really. Im worried that when I go for my scan something will be wrong. Is it normal in some cases not to have many symptoms or none at all? Thanks
Absolutely normal - some people have a terrible time with sickness etc, some none at all. I really just had the overwhelming tiredness and sore boobs and also really vivid dreams, but that was pretty much it in the early days.
sure is, my friend was 17 weeks pregnant and still only found out she was pregnant when she went to doc`s about an unrelated matter :-) she had had no symptoms at all. I think its normal to worry,i know i did my fair share when i was pregnant lol
hi honey. first of all, congrats on your new baby. second, you are worrying for nothing. talk to your gp about how you feel and he will tell you that it is normal to feel how you do. when i was pregnant six years ago, i had no symptoms whatsoever. I didnt even know what morning sickness was. All i felt was tired. think yourself one of the lucky ones and dont worry about anything. good luck with your scan and let me know what is happening.
thanks guys, ive also had quite vivid dreams but didnt know this could be a symptom. I felt quite sick one day last week but it just started in the afternoon and was gone by the next day so im unsure as to whether this is something completely unrelated. I suppose its natural to be a bit nervous.
Hello Ettelloc.
I thought I was the only person that felt like you do! I'm 12 weeks gone and have my scan in 2 days time! I won't believe I'm pregnant until I see it on the screen, as like you I have had no symptoms except the tiredness and very sore boobs, especially in the night! I do have a bit of a bump already tho! I feel totally normal otherwise!
Good luck with your scan and the rest of your pregnancy!!!x
I'm in my 15Th week & too thought when I went for my first scan, I wonder if anything is actually there as again, all I had was sore boobs & very emotional. But.. Honestly when you see that little baby on the scan for the first time it's breath taking, you wonder how you both created such a little miracle!
I'm sure all will be perfect!
However, not long after the scan I had awful morning sickness throughout the day (Still have bad sick days now) so be warned (Just in case) :o) x
Just wanted to thank you all and let you know scan went fine & everything is ok. My EDD is 7th Oct which makes me only 9 weeks today so I was a week out with my dates but at least all is well. Again thanks for your support it helped put my mind at rest. x
