I sit round a table with all the family.

depends on the mood of the house really sundays is always a table dinner but other nights someone may wish to watch a programme on tele or just want to be slouching other times we all want a chat over dinner and opt for the table whatever we do it's always family time over any meal

we all sit at the table, at the moment we have all just finished apart from a naughty 4 yr old who's left on his own cos he wont eat his dinner!! He hasnt been well the last few days tho so it may not be just that he isnt eating it.

same as lifigirl, we dont do it 7 days a week but we do it average 3 times a week

We have pigs as rare guests, often drunks picked up from Basildon street corners (oh bless you sir I won't cause any trouble sir, I can't help being dirty and smelling like a monkey's jockstrap sir). Ok come on in then, but don't do any droppings on the stairs.

i try to get the family round the table when we are all available ( i work shifts ) its nice and stops some of the arguments

When I was younger, living at home, my mum made us eat at the table which was hell if you wanted to see something on the tv. She would't let us have trays!

Now years later we eat in the living room as we've got no room for a table, exvcept at xmas when we move the sofa out!
